Trixie Mc gained her second success of the campaign when running out a convincing winner of the Adare Manor Opportunity Handicap Hurdle at Kilbeggan.
Gavin Brouder settled behind the leaders on the Yeats mare as Kitty Galore blazed a trail in the two-miler.
The front-runner came back at the second last and Brouder was soon in front on Tom Gibney's charge.
Trixie Mc stuck on well from the last as nearest pursuer Bonarc blundered badly at the flight. The 7/1 shot went on to record a two-and-three-quarter length win over the staying on Falak
Brouder said afterwards:- “She stuck it out very well. Tom told me to jump out good and positive with her.
“I jumped off, gave her a squeeze and she grabbed a hold of the bit and carried me everywhere.
“The more I was squeezing her the better she was jumping. She got in deep to a couple but it didn't slow her momentum and she galloped all the way to the line.”
Trixie Mc had opened her account at Wexford in May and had been placed on her two most recent outings.
