Jump Jockeys' Championship leader Paul Townend moved ten winners clear of his rivals at Navan today, winning the 2011 Navan Membership Novice Handicap Hurdle on Bold Present
The son of Presenting stayed on well from the final flight to see off Brookville by four lengths.
Afterwards winning trainer Leonard Whitmore stated “he’s been knocking around a bit but is low enough in the handicap. He’ll go for another hurdle before we give him a spin over fences - he’s a big fella.”
