Tounsivator is an eye-catching runner in the Listed Neville Hotels Premier Handicap Hurdle at Leopardstown today after his victory in the Grade 2 Royal Bond in Fairyhouse at the start of the month.

The Royal Bond form received a significant boost when the runner-up, Romeo Coolio, came out and landed a Grade 1 novice hurdle at Leopardstown on Friday by nine lengths.

Willie Mullins' Tounsivator is up in trip for this two-and-a-half-mile contest worth €100,000 and he has been allocated 11st 7lb.

Aubrey McMahon, who manages the Temple Bloodstock Tounsivator Syndicate, said: "He's no longer a novice, so we were limited to where we could go. We obviously couldn't run yesterday against Romeo Coolio - it was nice to see him go out and win after beating him in Fairyhouse. Probably a different run race, we won it on the day.

"Two and a-half miles and he is near enough top weight which isn't going to be easy as there's 20-odd runners, it is going to be rough and ready. We are in good form and he should like the trip and he should like the track, I think.

"We are going to need a lot of luck but, hopefully, we get it and run a good race and finish in the money again."
