Tornado has Fogartys smiling again We had a second well-backed winning favourite in as many races at Ballinrobe when Tornado Watch landed the spoils under Mikey Fogarty in the Tuam Herald Handicap Hurdle. Available at over 3/1 earlier and from 2/1 into 11/8 on track, the victorious and well-related chestnut was similarly smooth in victory here as he was when landing a massive punt at Downpatrick on August 29th. Tornado Watch is two from two now for the Wexford yard of Fogarty's brother, Jonathan, after his four and a half length win over Mic Milano. On the never far from the pace victor Mikey Fogarty said: "We were a little bit worried about the ground but you'd be happy enough with him after that. "He is in again at the weekend but I don't know whether he will run again. He has strengthened up a bit and anything after the last day is a bonus. It was great and it's great to have him." The Stewards requested a report from R. Loughran, rider, into the fall of his mount Shouband, when leaving the back straight on the final circuit. R. Loughran reported that his mount changed his legs, clipped heels and fell. (DM & EM)
