We have highlighted three market movers to note that are running today, including a rather eye-catching shortener in the 1.45 at Wincanton.
Sheeka Supreme
1.45 Wincanton, 200-1 into 33-1 with BetVictor
The former Irish point-to-pointer was bought for a whopping 170,000 at Tattersalls following a six length point-to-point victory when under the care of Colin Bowe. The six-year-old Flemensfirth mare was off the track for two years and has since finished well down the field at Chepstow and Ffos Las for trainer Grace Harris. It is notable to see she has been backed on her third start for new connections at Wincanton on better ground.
Brodie’s Boy
3.23 Newcastle, 11-1 into 4-1 with BetVictor
Formerly trained by Barry Brennan before moving to Paul Attwater, this three-year-old has disappointed on his two starts for the new yard. Last seen finishing 9th in a class 4 race at Wolverhampton, the drop down in class may well help to get him back to winning ways.
Show Me Show Me
3.55 Newcastle, 15-2 into 7-2 with BetVictor
A course and distance winner who could be lurking on a good handicap mark for trainer Richard Fahey. Ran five days ago at Newcastle when finishing 4th of 11 having travelled very well through the race. Could improve on that today with connections backing him up quickly.
