The Edward O’Grady trained Time For Mabel under Andrew Lynch, defied top weight to win the Johnny Brady Country Music Night 21st July Rated Hurdle at Limerick today.
The son of Soldier Of Fortune was held up behind the leaders before improving to lead approaching the final flight. From there the pair stayed on for a four lengths win over Bitview Colin
O’Grady was absent but Lynch later stated “he had the form in the book but it was still a good performance to win under his weight. He had been a bit unlucky on his last couple of hurdle starts but quickened up well today and he used his speed.”
