Tillahow bounced back to form to land an eventful Woodlands House Hotel Hurdle for his trainer Mouse Morris with Ben Dalton aboard.
The 4yo son of Tillerman won a Grade 3 Juvenile Hurdle last season at Punchestown but failed to follow up on that win on six starts since.
He had hinted at a return to form at Naas in October when he finished a close fifth in the Brown Lad Handicap Hurdle but he disappointed on his next start when finishing down the field behind Irish Soul at Clonmel last time out.
Sent off at 13/2, Ben Dalton pushed his mount to the front on the run to the second last and he kept on well from there to record an easy six and a half length win over the 15/8 favourite Farrells Fancy who had attempted to make all under Paddy Mangan.
11/2 shot Maggie Connolly unseated her rider Emmet Mullins at the fourth while the second favourite at 5/2, Sligo Publican made a bad mistake three out when pushed along and that put pay to her chances and she eventually pulled up.
Winner owners Gigginstown House Stud were recording their sixth winner since yesterday while winning rider Ben Dalton was enjoying his second win of the Limerick Christmas Festival having won aboard Sumkindasuprstar yesterday.
