Three up for Carberry on the Wildcat
On his second start for Gordon Elliott having been with the now English-based Val Donoghue, Fool's Wildcat completed a treble for Paul Carberry (earlier successful on the Noel Meade-trained pair Perfect Smile and Aitmatov by winning the 2011 Five Day Festival Handicap Hurdle at Punchestown.
A winner in his two-year-old days for Brian Meehan but without success since, the lightly-weighted Fool's Wildcat struck on before two out and he ultimately held on with a reducing advantage from Bale O'Shea and Almanyan
Elliott commented: "The good ground is the key to him and it was a good ride from Paul."
