Emmet Mullins continued his hot streak as Rightplacerightime made all in the beginners' chase at Fairyhouse.
Brian Hayes was on board and he also did the steering on two of Mullins' three winners at Cork on Sunday (first treble for the trainer).
The pair were eight lengths clear setting out on the final circuit of this three mile test.
Rightplacerightime got the fourth last wrong and saw his lead eroded. He was then awkward at the penultimate obstacle but readily asserted before the last.
He popped that and came home by seven and a half lengths to justify 6/5 favouritism. Yabo took the runner-up berth at 14/1 by 13 lengths from Goodnightngodbless (7/2).
Mullins said: “He's a strong galloper and I'd say Downpatrick didn't play to his strengths - a tight, turning track.
.
“There was no messing there, I told Brian to buck out and go. He was probably a bit lonely in front for a while there, he put down at a few late on.
“The fact that he galloped the whole way to the line he obviously still had plenty in the tank.
“Hopefully there should be more to come from him and he'll be interesting going forward.
“That wasn't the highest-grade stuff, rated 109. We'll look for another stamina test in a couple of weeks but we've nothing planned at the moment.”
