Secret Vision absolutely sluiced up at 33/1 on debut for the colts and geldings maiden over a mile in Gowran Park.
Mark McNiff 's three-year-old Elzaam colt raced just behind the pace swinging for home.
Gavin Ryan, on his first ride for McNiff, drove him to the front inside the final quarter of a mile and the response was immediate as he powered clear by the furlong pole.
He kept on strongly before being eased down to score by seven and a half lengths at 33/1 (paid almost 52.5/1 on the Tote). Tall Story the 6/4 favourite, was completely outgunned once headed by the winner and finished a remote second. Equus Deus was another two and three quarter lengths adrift in third at 4/1.
Ryan said: "I'm delighted with him. Mark told me that he always worked very well. He has probably worked with horses lesser than him all along. He never gave him a moments doubt that he wouldn't win a maiden.
"Mark said to keep it simple and just get him into a rhythm. I got a lovely position and they went kind of even the whole way but started to quicken from halfway down the hill.
"Once they started to step up everything was coming under pressure, but he took me into it really well. As soon as I gave him a squeeze, I got him to the rail to give him a bit of a hand as it was his first start and he put the race to bed very easily.
"He is a smart type and is a lovely clear-winded horse, so hopefully he will have a nice future."
