Tested does it again in the Fairy Bridge Tested justified favouritism in the feature at Tipperary, the Coolmore Stud Fair Bridge Stakes, as she claimed the Group Three contest for the second year in-a-row. Beaten a head by Laviniad in the Corrib Stakes at Galway on her last start she got her revenge on that rival today. Available at 3/1 last night (before Ainippe came out) she opened on-course at 13/8 before going off the clear 11/8 favourite. Settled in second by Pat Smullen the daughter of Selkirk came with her challenge under two furlongs out and was ridden to the front with just under a furlong to race, keeping on well from there to score by a length and a half. The well-backed Military Angel (14's last night and from 9/2 to 7/2 on-course) finished second under Fran Berry for Michael O'Callaghan while the front-running Calypso Beat (16/1) was half a length back in third under Wayne Lordan for Kevin Ryan. Kris Weld said afterwards: "We felt if she reproduced her win last year that it would be more than enough and she got the job done well. "She has always been very classy but seems to prefer Tipperary to Ballybrit (beaten at Galway twice)! "I'm not sure where she'll go next, Dad will talk to Lord Grimthorpe (racing manager for owner Prince Khalid Abdullah). This will be her final season." Pat Smullen added: "I think she's definitely better on a level track and she didn't get the run of the race at Galway the last day. "Ground was my only concern today but she got through it well and a few of the others coming out made things a little easier." Additional reporting by Thomas Weekes
