More pain was inflicted on punters at Fairyhouse today (having earlier endured a 20/1 winner and beaten odds-on 'jolly') when 50/1 shot Talk About Milltown was a shock winner of the Fairyhouse Membership 2011 Maiden Hurdle.
Ridden by Eddie Power, the son of Talkin Man made all and despite making a few mistakes, held the late challenges of Got Options and Royal Reveille
Talk About Milltown entered today's race having beaten just three horses in five career starts (and been beaten by a total of 60!) but was having his first run for trainer Robbie Burns who stated "I have him only three months and while I liked him a lot, his form was very bad - we hadn't a penny on him!"
He added "I have his half brother and like him too."
