The Become A Go Racing In Kildare Member (Pro/Am) Flat Race had the look of a very decent event and it produced a winner that has the pedigree to go on to much better things as Kicking King's brother Table Talk beat off fellow newcomer Deise Dan (better than 3s this morning into 6/4 favourite) by four lengths.
Graham O'Sullivan did the steering on the 10/1 shot who led over a furlong out and galloped home really well for a first-timer in diabolical conditions with a further ten lengths back to the third-placed outsider, Immediate Response
Winning trainer, Tom Taaffe said: "He has always shown plenty at home and he would have started off over hurdles but for the fact that he kept getting balloted out. He'll go at that job now but he won't be rushed back into action after running on that ground." (EM)
