Former Triumph Hurdle winner Upgrade is among seven horses revealed today to have left Nigel Twiston-Davies' stable.
The septet, which also includes useful hurdlers Borazon and Romancer, have all been moved to champion jumps trainer Martin Pipe.
It follows a fall-out with owners Jean Broadhurst and Matt Archer, a pair widely remembered for their ecstatic reaction to Upgrade's Triumph Hurdle victory at Cheltenham in 1998.
"We have always given Matt Archer and Jean Broadhurst's horses the best attention we could," Twiston-Davies told the Daily Mail.
"I am sorry to lose them but these things happen and I wish them all the best at Martin's.
"We had a great deal of luck together and the Cheltenham Festival winner was a great day."
Other good horses Twiston-Davies has trained for the pair include smart hurdlers Kerawi and Ocean Hawk but the latter has failed to sparkle over fences this season and is among the horses moved to Pipe.
