Aidan O'Brien reports Minding "just ready to start" ahead of her return to action in the Camelot Irish EBF Mooresbridge Stakes at Naas on Monday.

The star filly faces four rivals in the Group Two contest where she has to carry a Group One penalty.

Minding rounded off a fantastic campaign last season with victory in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot and looks set to be a leading light once again for Ballydoyle.

"She's in good form. We've been happy with her since last year but she's just ready to start," said O'Brien.

Chief among her rivals in the 10-furlong contest looks to be the Jim Bolger-trained Godolphin colt Moonlight Magic

The son of Cape Cross failed to shine in the Epsom and Irish Derby last season but ran with plenty of credit in the Irish Champion Stakes when sixth to Almanzor.

He was last seen finishing third in Group Two company at Chantilly.

Godolphin's Jimmy Hyland told www.godolphin.com: "Moonlight Magic is training very well, but is likely to need the race.

"The ground should suit him and, although it is a strong race, we expect a big run and hopefully he can improve for it.

"Moonlight Magic's target is the Group One Tattersalls Gold Cup (Curragh) on (Irish) Guineas weekend."

The consistent Brendan Brackan has already been in winning action this term, while Johannes Vermeer stablemate of Minding, and the Joseph O'Brien-trained Jaqen H'Ghar complete the field.
