Sun Never Sets battles on well under Hassett The Lougher Stables Nursery developed into a match from some way out and Sun Never Sets (2/1) mastered Tatum (15/8 fav) inside the final furlong to score by a neck after the market rivals had raced at the head of affairs throughout.  Trained by Joseph O'Brien for the Magnolia Racing Syndicate, the daughter of Karakontie was reversing Naas nursery form with the runner-up with the weights more in her favour on this occasion.  Hassett, whose saddle slipped forward during the race, said:- “I knew when we came over the road that it had slipped a bit but I said I'd kick on anyway because I wanted to get the winner more than anything. That's the most important thing. “She did it well and I'm happy with that. I rode her on the Curragh, and came third on her, but then I was suspended last time and Hugh Horgan rode. He told me she'd win a race and he was right about one thing. “She handled the ground, it was very testing today. Yesterday it was a bit waterlogged and very soft but today it's a bit heavy. It's riding okay. “It was a like a piece of work for her upsides and as I grabbed her up and kicked on a bit more she found plenty. “She's a nice filly and hopefully in the future she could go further.” It was a third winner in the six days for the 7lb claimer.
