The complexion of the mile handicap at Dundalk changed completely at the furlong pole with leader Muck 'N' Brass crashing through the running rail.
Colm O'Donoghue was unseated from the front-runner but thankfully emerged unscatched.
The race developed into a tight finish with Suehail getting the verdict by a neck from Barrow Island
There was short-heads back to Strait Of Zanzibar in third and Coin Of Courage in fourth.
Trainer David Marnane was pleased to get a winner for owner Malih Lahej Al Basti after he supplemented Dandy Boy for the July Cup only for the entire to struggle in unsuitably testing conditions.
"He's a lovely horse and it's no more than he deserves," said Marnane.
"It's some compensation for Malih after Dandy Boy.
"He's going to make a lovely four-year-old and will keep progressing. He'll also improve for a bit of a step up in trip.
"We might think about the Topaz Mile at Galway. It's a tough race and he's a big baby but we'll have a look.
"Fergal gave him a great ride."
Eddie Lynam, trainer of Muck 'N' Brass said about his charge later:-
"I can't explain it. He's very head shy and we have to take apart his bridle to get it on so maybe something touched his head.
"It was the stick anyway as he had put it down."
