Son of Sea The Stars races tomorrow Sea The Stars has his first runner on the track as Juvenile Lead makes his racecourse debut at Leicester tomorrow. A winner of eight of his nine racecourse starts, Sea The Stars is widely regarded as one of the greatest Flat horses of all time. The John Oxx-trained son of Cape Cross enjoyed a spectacular three-year-old campaign in 2009, winning six Group Ones in as many months including the 2000 Guineas, the Epsom Derby and the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. He sired 118 foals during his first season as a stallion, with Juvenile Lead the first to grace the track, kicking off over six furlongs Leicester's Pytchley Maiden Stakes. The well-related youngster is trainer Sir Michael Stoute's first two-year-old runner of the season. Peter Reynolds, racing manager for owners Ballymacoll Stud, said: "He was a nice yearling and he's a proper individual. "He looks quite a handy horse and must be pleasing Sir Michael to be his first two-year-old runner of the season." Juvenile Lead faces seven rivals, with four of his opponents also unraced.
