Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh completed an opening race double as the 1/3 favourite So Young took the Follow Navan On Facebook Hurdle.
The French bred son of Lavirco was completing a hat-trick of wins this afternoon, having won at Punchestown in November and Thurles last month.
The 7/2 second best in the market Trifolium for Charles Byrnes and Davy Russell looked a big danger to the winner at the third last as he travelled best behind the front running winner.
However he didn't find as much off the bridle as So Young powered clear after the last going on to score by seven and a half lengths. Oilily finished a further twenty three lengths back in third under Andrew Lynch while Perfect Smile was last of the four runners.
Willie Mullins said afterwards: "Ruby was not afraid to make the pace and he did it well from the front. He jumped well and is a horse with lots of stamina. His best trip is way beyond that.
"The Boyne Hurdle here next month is a possibility. He will be entered in the Champion Hurdle and the World Hurdle at Cheltenham in March.
"In a fast run two mile race he would be competitive but I have no doubt that his future lies over two mile plus."
Stan James go 50/1 about the winner for the Champion Hurdle and 20/1 for the World Hurdle at Cheltenham in March.
