Gavin Cromwell is favouring another trip to England with his Royal Ascot winner Snellen as she bids to bounce back after a disappointing effort at the Curragh last time.
The daughter of Expert Eye followed up her debut maiden win at Limerick by landing the Chesham Stakes but dropped away tamely in the final furlong of the Group 2 Debutante Stakes.
"It was a non event (in the Debutante), but the way she acted up and behaved in the parade ring and going to the start and at the start was just not her. We just have to put a line through it,” said Cromwell.
"She's got straight back into work albeit light work, and we will build on that.”
Snellen has Group 1 entries in both the Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh (on September 10) and the Bet365 Fillies Mile at Newmarket in October and Cromwell added: "She’s probably unlikely to be back for the Moyglare although she's still in it and I wouldn't rule it out.
"The Fillies Mile at Newmarket would give us more time and it’s probably a more likely plan."
