Sneaky another good result for Punters Experience proved the key in the Cheltenham Crazy Prices At Coral.ie (Pro-Am) Flat Race as The Sneaky Punter, the only one with two previous outings, adapted best to the testing conditions at Limerick. Nina Carberry was partnering the winner of this four-year-olds’ bumper for the third successive year, and the 11 runners here were well strung out at the finish. Boxing Clever set a strong early pace but was a spent force before the top of the back straight as The Sneaky Punter, well-backed on track from 5/1 into 7/2, took over. The 2/1 favourite The Granson also weakened quickly at this point, and it was left to Allardyce to provide the chief threat. However the Mick Mulvany-trained gelding stayed on dourly for Carberry to prevail by a length and a half. There was a yawning gap of 19 lengths back to The Irregular in third. The victory was a boost to the form of Aspen Colorado who beat the winner by over 11 lengths at Leopardstown last time. Mulvany said, "The race at Leopardstown came a bit early for him but the form is there and it was a very good bumper run in a very fast time. "He's a fabulous big horse who can do anything and if the right offer came in, he'd be sold - every horse has a price! I'm delighted for his owner, my neighbour Paddy Rogers (Grange Racing Syndicate)." (TW & AM)
