An Duine Uasal reversed Curragh form with Greyscape as he took the opener at Cork under Pat Smullen for owner/trainer Adrian Keatley.
The son of Alfred Nobel finished seventh on his debut at the Curragh last month with Greyscape a length and a quarter ahead of him in sixth.
Available at 7/2 this morning he opened on-course at 3/1 before going off the 11/4 second favourite.
Prominent throughout he was ridden to lead inside the final furlong and he kept on well under pressure to see off the staying on Mint Chai by three parts of a length.
Mint Chai was returned at 6/1 under Colin Keane for Ger Lyons while the 5/4 favourite Greyscape was a further half a length back in third under Declan McDonogh for Patrick Prendergast.
Keatley said afterwards: "I was happy with him at the Curragh when he wouldn't have liked the heavy ground but had them all hard at it with a furlong to race.
"He knows his job, is sharp and ran as straight as a gun barrel. The Lily Agnes Stakes at Chester might be his next race and might have a chance if he got a good draw on the inside."
The winner was bought for just E5,000 as a yearling at Goffs in February of 2014 while his half-sister Anonymous Lady also won for Keatley at Dundalk last October.
