Placed in her previous two outings, the 4/1 (from 11/2) favourite Seangoell got her head in front in the Croom Handicap Hurdle.
The Goldwell mare had plenty to do two out but finished strongly under J.J. Slevin to lead after the last and defeat Iridescent (9/2) by a length and three quarters. Mr Bercow (9/2) was third with Elusive Exclusive (25/1) unlucky in running in fourth.
Winning trainer Norman Lee said: "She deserved it on her last two runs and J.J. (Slevin) gave her a super ride and we had one of the best jockeys in the race.
"She is belonging to a great owner and supporter of the yard John Davitt and his wife Rose and it's great for the lads in the yard.
"She is tough, genuine and if she doesn't get risen (in the weights) too much maybe there will be another one in her.
"She got badly hurt the day she won her point to point (at Bandon in March 2019)and it was the people in Fethard Veterinary Clinic that saved her.
"We have 30 in the yard and are busy busy but have the best staff we've ever had - I am only part of a big wheel."
