Sea looks a Star in the making Sea The Stars looked a name to remember when running out a stylish winner of the opening maiden at Leopardstown. The half-brother to Galileo recorded a cosy two-and-a-half length success under Mick Kinane after hitting the front at the two furlong pole. The John Oxx-trained son of Cape Cross was given a quote of 28/1 by Boylesports for next year's Derby after the victory and is set to tackle Group company on his next start. "He's a nice horse. The ground was very soft and not many liked it and he didn't really either," said Oxx. "He's a lovely big horse but he's not the finished article yet. He's not a precocious type and has a lot of developing to do. "He's in the National Stakes and will be in the Beresford. He's promising but there is a long way to go."
