Sariska turned the Darley Irish Oaks into a procession at the Curragh today as she cruised to a cheeky three-length success under a super confident Jamie Spencer.
The Michael Bell-trained filly could be called the winner from a long way out as she doubled up on her Epsom success in stunning fashion.
Spencer could afford a wave at rival Fran Berry as his mount moved upsides the front-runner Roses For The Lady inside the final furlong.
The even money favourite then sauntered clear with Spencer shaking his head in disbelief. Midday who had pushed her so close at Epsom, proved no match this time and had to settle for third.
Winning trainer Bell remarked afterwards, “She was very impressive today, she has been working extremely well at home and that was so good to watch.
"She doesn’t have a problem with the ground as she’s won on firm and soft. We will probably go for the Yorkshire Oaks next and then we might have a look at the Arc or maybe drop her back to 10f and go for the Breeders Cup.”
