Aidan Fogarty's Samanntom found plenty for pressure to grab the spoils in Tipperary's two mile one handicap chase.
He looked to be a sitting duck as he came under Mark Enright's whip entering the home straight.
On the run to the second last, Hard Bought and Bellgrove looked to be going better in second and third respectively.
Samanntom (4/1) was briefly headed by Hard Bought after that fence but rallied well to lead again before the last as Bellgrove could make no impression in third.
The leader pecked on landing but was ridden out to assert in the latter stages and put two and a half lengths on 7/2 favourite Hard Bought. By The Banks (10/1) came through for third, a further three lengths down.
This was Samanntom's third National Hunt win to add to a couple of point-to-point victories.
