Sa Fureur completed a near 48/1 treble on the day for Bective Stud, Gordon Elliott and Sam Ewing at Navan when justifying favouritism in the €45,000 Timeless Sash Windows Foxrock Handicap Chase.

The Walk In The Park gelding, placed in the Grand Annual at Cheltenham in March and a promising second when reappearing over hurdles here last month, travelled well for most of this extended 2m4f event.

The 9/4 favourite made a slight mistake when challenging at the penultimate fence and was shaken up to lead approaching the last before being driven out by Ewing on the run-in to beat stablemate Mars Harper by three and three-quarter lengths. The Big Chap could find no extra in the closing stages a further four lengths back in third with Music Of Tara completing the places in fourth.

Elliott said, “He stays well and he's a grand horse. He could end up being a Galway Plate horse.

"We'll see, maybe the Dublin Racing Festival (next).”

The same connections were also on the mark earlier with Magic Boum (10/1) and The Yellow Clay (4/11).
