Trainer Conor O'Dwyer's Hangover justified 11/4 favouritism when scoring a five lengths win in the www.thurlesraces.ie Beginners Chase at Thurles today, providing jockey Davy Russell with a double.
Hangover raced prominently before Russell eventually moved the son of Presenting through to lead entering the straight, staying on well for a five lengths win.
Afterwards O'Dwyer reported “Hangover deserved that and had a few runs recently. He is as honest as the day is long and jumps super. Where we go next depends on what mark the handicapper gives him.”
