Run For Mary made it two from two in the last at Down Royal, as she ran out a good winner of the Tayto Group Ltd. Mares Flat Race.
Successful on debut at Limerick last month, the Charles Byrnes trained bay was sent off at 3/1 this evening, with Ray Barron again in the saddle.
Settled towards rear, the daughter of Flemensfirth made good progress from the three furlong pole, and was pushed along to lead with two furlongs left to race.
She was ridden and kept up the gallop in the closing stages, going on to score by a length in the colours of the Top Of The Hill Syndicate.
Cork winner Stacey Sue (7/1) finished second under Harry Swan, while the 9/4 favourite Best Of Dubai was another length and three parts back in third.
Byrnes said afterwards: "I'm delighted for the owners, the Solwhit connections. It's great to get back again with them.
"She's improving away, she learned a lot from Limerick. She travelled much better today, she knew what racing was about today. She quickened well and I thought it was a good performance.
"They went a good, honest gallop and I thought she won it well. She had to come around them as well. She had a nice bit to do four furlongs out.
"She'll probably jump a hurdle I'd say. She obviously wants good ground so if the ground stays good she'll run away. She could get black type at some stage."
