Touched off in the previous race with Super Cub Denis Hogan and Joey Sheridan had better fortune in the three-year-old handicap as 8/1 chance Rumbled Again got his head in front for the first time.

Third at Cork last week, Sheridan's mount was out sharply and soon in a good position on the tail of Finsceal Go Deo He travelled strongly to lead two furlongs out and, despite edging right and impeding the weakening Finsceal Go Deo, kept on well to hold Rathbranchurch by a length.

“He put it all together today," said Sheridan.

"He jumped well, the track and ground suited him.

“He ran well the last day and stuck it well but I think the undulating track today suited a bit better, kept his mind in it. In fairness to him he kept at it well in front.

“I got a lovely lead throughout, he ducked right about a furlong-and-a-half out but other than that he was very straight.

“I'm delighted to ride another winner for Tony Cantwell who is a good supporter of the yard.”

Hogan had also been amongst the winners at Punchestown with Bal De Rio
