Rumbled Again added to a win at Gowran last year when just coming out best in yet another thrilling finish at Dundalk this evening in division two of the William Hill Top Price Guarantee Handicap.

The four-year-old gelding was having just his third outing for trainer Gavin Cromwell and made headway to challenge early in the straight.

The 15/2 (from 11/1) chance kept on gamely inside the final furlong and just got the nod by the slimmest of margins after a photo-finish.

Gary Carroll ’s mount edged out Feature This by a nose with 15/8 favourite Mags half a length back in third.

Carroll said, "Probably the drop back to seven (furlongs) and really enjoyed the surface.

"He hasn't won for a long time and was claimed to try and go to Laytown with. He probably didn't like the surface (there).

"He loved it there today and he stuck his head out.

"Hopefully, the handicapper isn't hard on him and he could win again."
