Ruby Walsh is to miss his ride on On His Own in the Grand National following a fall from Zarkandar, which took a crunching fall at the sixth hurdle in the Aintree Hurdle.

Walsh was prone on the floor for a minute after the incident but along with the horse, thankfully emerged without serious injury. However Walsh, for the second time in three years, will miss his ride in the National.

The Willie Mullins trained On His Own will now be ridden by Paul Townend while Andrew Tinkler is to ride stablemate The Midnight Club.
