The Dermot Weld trained Yellow Rosebud under Pat Smullen, ran out the impressive winner of the opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden at Leopardstown this evening.
Afterwards Weld stated “Yellow Rosebud is a filly with a lot of talent and did it with the minimum of fuss. She has the makings of a lovely filly and there is a lot of improving to come.”
“She’ll have a couple of weeks off now and come back for the Debutante Stakes at The Curragh.”
