Having looked very unlucky in running when a fast finishing fifth at the Curragh on Saturday, Rosato gained quick compensation in winning the Book Your Discounted Tickets On NavanRacecourse.ie Apprentice Handicap at Navan.
Trained by Charles Weld, the three-year-old was sent off a well backed 4/1f to record a first career success under up and coming young jockey Darragh O'Sullivan.
Held up in mid division early on, the Raven's Pass filly momentarily looked like she was going to suffer a similar fate to last time when briefly short of room over a furlong out. Nordic Passage kicked on in front under Neve Bennett but that move was quickly covered by Cian Horgan on Jackie Brown
However, once meeting the rising ground, Rosato picked up best of all to mow down the latter close home for a half-length win.
Charles Weld said: "She got a bit stuck on the rail (in the Curragh). I'd say she was still a bit green as well, it was probably her first time trying to take a gap going forwards rather than backwards.
"We thought she would win (today), we put her in on Monday (at Roscommon) because we thought she might win and might need to go under a penalty.
"She won't go to Dundalk, she didn't like it up there so we'll keep her busy before the end of the season.
"Darragh was class on her, he was very clued in. I rang him last night and he knew all about her. I didn't know much about him, he was recommended to me. He's top-class now.
"I'd say she was still a bit green there and, in fairness, he gave her a good ride. He had to make a decision with which way to go and everything, and he did it very well."
