Rog stumble hands it to Treat at Gowran After completing a Gowran double on Treat Yourself in the Scraggs Alley Carlow Novice Handicap Hurdle, Davy Russell summed things up well when saying: "The jump at the last helped. The other horse stumbling also helped but he kept going well on the run-in." The other horse in this scenario was the well-backed Call Rog. The issue was very much in the 'melting-pot' at the last when Call Rog got it 'wrong' and a bad stumble a stride or two later finally put paid to his chance. Treat Yourself is owned by Liam Breslin and trained by Arthur Moore and he was bringing-up a course and distance double having triumphed at Gowran to break his maiden 19 days back. Of course Russell had gotten on the score-sheet half-an-hour earlier courtesy of the impressive Umpact. (TW & EM)
