Nick Rockett completed a first and last race double for Willie Mullins as he justified favouritism in the John Thomas McNamara Series INH Flat Race.
Successful on debut in a point-to-point at Tattersalls in October of 2021 when trained by Pat Doyle, he finished fourth on his first start for current connections at Fairyhouse in December.
Sent off an easy-to-back 9/4 chance (from 7/4) today, he made all under Charlie Mullins. Pressed and ridden early in the straight, he stretched clear inside the final furlong and came home four-and-a-half lengths to the good in the colours of Stewart & Sadie Andrew.
Sent off the second favourite at 5/2, Littlefoot kept on well in the closing stages to fill the runner-up spot under Harry Swan for Mark Molloy, while Cato's Revenge (50/1) ran a fine race another three-parts of a length back in third.
