Rock tops off another good day for Tyner The winners continue to flow with a serious degree of regularity for the Robert Tyner yard and having been at the number one at the point-to-point in Dromahane earlier (a card where Mossey Joe took the open) the Cork outfit were also victorious in the concluding NOTNOWCATO At Knockhouse Stud Mares (Pro/Am) INH Flat Race at Wexford with Carrigmoorna Rock. Punters found it hard to find an outright favourite for this two and a half miler but near the off Taylors Storm and Spirit Of Afection topped the market at 4/1 as Carrigmoorna Rock drifted a little out to 9/2. That mattered little out on the track as Carrigmoorna Rock under Davy O'Leary got the better of Missypet close home to score by a head. Mary Tyner did the honours at Wexford and she explained: "She will probably go for the mares final (the ITBA Fillies Scheme Premier Bumper) at the Punchestown Festival. "She will be entered in it anyway and it is our intention to go there with her. She won her point-to-point on the new track at Lisgoold. Her dam (Carrigmorna Flyer – Shantou Flyer, 5th in the 1st and Mrs Mac Veale 5th in the 4.05) had three runners here today." The Stewards received a report from Ms Joan Taylor, Turf Club Veterinary Officer, that she was unable to positively identify Royal Dictum (GB), trained by Eoin Doyle, from the markings contained in the passport presented for this horse. Evidence was heard from Mr Ray Cody, authorised representative for the trainer and the Turf Club Veterinary Officer. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Royal Dictum (GB) and referred the matter to the Turf Club for further investigation. (DM & EM)
