Roca Roma (4/1) was a half-length winner of the Gap Of Dunloe Handicap in the hands of Colin Keane.
The 4-year-old daughter of Australia, twice a winner last year and highly tried on a few occasions in stakes races, found this company to her liking and wore down the gallant Free Solo (9/1) in the final furlong.
Shane Lyons, assistant to winning trainer Ger Lyons, said: "It is lovely to get her back winning - we thought a lot of her but with one little problem after another, we had to take our time and let her grow into herself.
"We thought a lot of her, with the entries we made and the races she ran in, and ultimately we are hunting for black type. She needed to get that for her confidence.
"It's great to give a buzz to Jimmy and Roseleen Chute, who are here today, and who own her with Tommy Murphy and his partner, so it's a great result. "
