Vintage Charm swooped inside the final furlong to run out a cosy winner of the apprentice handicap under Dylan Robinson.

Jim Bolger 's charge was settled towards rear early on in the seven-furlong contest before being driven into contention at the furlong marker.

He got to the front inside the final furlong and the 10/1 shot was well on top close home as eased up at the line for a two-and-three-quarter length success over Bainne Louis Leroy was sent off the 6/4 favourite to follow up his recent success over six at the course but faded in the closing stages after getting to the front over a furlong out.

“She's a half-sister to Turret Rocks, and her real job will be in the paddocks,” said Bolger.

Robinson was formerly apprenticed to Bolger but due to rising weight is now with Henry de Bromhead. He has ridden two winners over hurdles.

There was a nasty incident after a furlong-and-a-half when Oor Jock stumbled and unshipped Donagh O'Connor. Luckily the rider was able to walk away after the spill.
