Rhythm proves tough under O'Hanlon Royal Rhythm proved very tough in front as he landed the Cannonwood Handicap Hurdle at Clonmel for Philip Rothwell. Paddy O'Hanlon was soon in front on the 9/2 shot but he had company over the second last with Pana To Milan. The Jet Away gelding dug deep to assert on the run-in and he then held the late charge of Tingarran Express to record a three-parts-of-a-length win. It was second career success for the John Leckey-owned gelding, who has also scored at Galway last October. "He is versatile, you can ride him anyway and had proven stamina so I was able to make plenty use of him,” said O'Hanlon. "Nothing was getting to him and he stuck at it well." (Quotes by Tom Weekes)
