Colin Bowe's Representing landed a huge gamble in Punchestown's three mile handicap when backed from 20/1 to 7/1 although the complexion of the race changed when the strong-travelling Minella Clonmel fell at the last.
Representing had been pulled up last time out at Wexford though trainer Colin Bowes said: "She came back with a crack on her heel which explained that run.
"She will probably go and jump a fence now. Michael Doran's seven pound claim made a difference."
The stewards interviewed Bowe regarding the improvement in form and the trainer was found in breach of Rule 213 in that he failed to report anything that may have affected the running of his horse (cracked heel). He was fined 3,000 euro.
Bowe's Presenting mare came home three parts of a length clear of 25/1 shot Lady Perspex with fellow 25/1 chance Corrick Bridge in third. Royal Reveille was sent off the 9/4 favourite having drifted from an opening show of 15/8 and finished fourth. The horse from the Ted Walsh/Ruby Walsh axis was the subject of morning support from 9/2 to 5/2.
