Trainer Henry De Bromhead enjoyed a fine ‘08/09 season and recorded his third winner of the new season when his Queiros Bleu landed the Clanwilliam Novice Hurdle at Tipperary today.
The son of Ungaro outbattled Russian War to win a short head, under Andrew Lynch.
De Bromhead was not present for the win while Lynch subsequently stood himself down, having injured his hand in a fall in the opening maiden hurdle.
