Quality entry for Clonmel Oil Chase Champagne Fever and Sizing Europe are two of the star names amongst 11 entries for the Clonmel Oil Chase next Thursday. Having previously landed the Champion Bumper and the Supreme Novices' Hurdle, the Willie Mullins-trained Champagne Fever came close to becoming a three-times Cheltenham Festival winner when narrowly denied in last season's Arkle. The King George VI Chase at Kempton on December 26 has been identified as a potential target for the flying grey this term but he could kick off his season at Powerstown Park next week. Sizing Europe won the Clonmel Oil Chase in 2012 for Henry de Bromhead and could bid to regain his crown following his winning reappearance at Gowran Park. Mouse Morris has a strong hand, with First Lieutenant, Baily Green and Rathlin all in contention for the two-and-a-half-mile Grade Two. Robbie Hennessy has entered Rubi Light, while dual Cheltenham Festival hero Alderwood is a possible runner for Tom Mullins. Gordon Elliott could call upon Realt Mor and or Roi Du Mee, with Dazzling Susie and Letter Of Credit completing the entries at this stage.
