The opening Twilight Summer Racing Maiden at Limerick today went to the Kevin Prendergast trained Dance Hall Girl which battled well to win under Chris Hayes.
The daughter of Dansili chased the leaders, and although she appeared under pressure early in the straight, stayed on well to lead inside the final furlong, for a length and a quarter success over Big Bad Billy Bob
Prendergast was not present for Dance Hall Girl's deserved success (three times runner-up as a two year old).
