Dublin trainer Garvan Donnelly completed an across-the-card double today, when his Plough Boy landed the Tipperary Ladies Day Saturday 11th July Handicap at Tipperary, following up the earlier win of his Catwilldo at Bellewstown.
Plough Boy was ridden to win by capable claimer Robbie Downey who switched right the son of Dandy Man with his challenge with a furlong to race before staying on strongly for a length win over Art Scene
Donnelly was at Bellewstown but Downey later commented "we found every bit of trouble but he was good and got me out of it in the end!"
