Perseverence pays off with Info More Info held the challenge of Cottie to secure victory in the concluding Tickincor bumper at Clonmel. Patrick Mullins had the eventual winner to the fore throughout and she hit the front crossing the road at the two furlong marker. Denis Hogan's charge was soon tackled by 9/4 favourite Cottie and had to find plenty in the final furlong to repel that rival by a diminishing head at the line. The 4/1 winner was reversing Galway form with the runner-up having been behind that rival when fourth at Ballybrit last time. Hogan said:- "She had different conditions to Galway and while Patrick (Mullins) got to dictate things in Galway, we got him to dictate things for us today; he is a nice man to have on your side in those races. "We persevered with bumpers as she had run well against so many good mares and I'd imagine we might try and nick black-type over hurdles at some stage. "She is from a good family and for a Scorpion her mind is very right; I'm delighted for (owner) Tim Conroy who has been with me a long time, is a great patron and a nice man." (Quotes by Tom Weekes)
