Newmarket trainer Jeff Pearce has been committed to trial at Cambridge Crown Court on October 23 following a fatal car crash earlier this year.
Pearce, who appeared at Ely Magistrates` Court today, is charged with causing death by dangerous driving and causing death by driving under the influence of drink.
Pearce, who remains on bail, was involved in an accident near Newmarket in May in which the trainer`s travelling head lass, Catherine Marr, died.
He was driving a Mercedes which was involved in a collision. Marr, 30, was a passenger in the Mercedes. She and Pearce had been returning from racing at Newbury.
