The featured Listed Danehill Dancer Tipperary Stakes at Dundalk today went for export with the Kevin Ryan trained Our Jonathan proving too strong for his Irish rivals.
Ridden by Fran Berry, the son of Invincible Spirit missed the break but eventually worked his way into contention, scoring by a length at the line.
Afterwards Ryan stated “the race did not go to plan for Our Jonathan. He was in the stalls a long time and seemed to 'freeze' and then missed the break. Fran (Berry) did say that he had a lot left in the tank, at the line, and will now go for the Flying Childers Stakes at Doncaster next.”
