Ontopoftheworld gains revenge on Chimneys Ontopoftheworld opened his account when reversing previous course and distance places with All The Chimneys in the Meridian Security Handicap Chase at Navan. The Arthur Moore-trained gelding was beaten two and a half lengths here six weeks ago but a 9lb turnaround in the weights proved crucial. All The Chimneys looked set to win again with Jack Kennedy sitting motionless after two out. However he found little under pressure while in contrast Donagh Meyler’s mount found plenty to stay on resolutely up the hill. Three quarters of a length separated the pair at the line, with Show And Go another four and a half lengths adrift in third. Moore said, “He belongs to a team of legal eagles of judges and barristers. Judge Ray Groake is the head of it and others include Judges Leonie Reynolds and Tony Hunt. It's great to get the horse to win for them and hopefully he'll come on from it. “He's had a tough race there so we'll probably wait to run in a novice handicap chase at Fairyhouse at the beginning of April. “I was worried about the ground so it was a great relief and it opens the door for the future. I thought he was more of a better ground horse. He jumps well and he's got a good attitude so he should give them a bit of fun.” (GC & AM)
