One of Three (6/1) who won over the course and distance just last Saturday, repeated the feat again this evening as she ran out a comfortable winner of the jogforjockeys.ie Handicap for trainer Michael Mulvany and jockey Gary Carroll.
The 5yo daughter of Tamarisk was never too far off the pace and she kicked on for home over a furlong out. From there she never looked like getting caught as she ran out a two length winner over Some Slam (who was backed for his morning price of 16/1 into 10/1 at the off).
The aforementioned runner-up for David Marnane, was somewhat unlucky as he missed the break and ran on late, but had too much to do to catch the winner. Sassaway completed the placings a head back in third at 16/1.
The winner clearly has a fondness for the course as her Limerick form now reads 211.
Winning trainer Michael Mulvany said afterwards: "She had five pounds more than when she won a similar race here last weekend. This race was just a five pounds higher in the handicap, so we had to run her.
"She is entered in Tipperary on Thursday and she will probably run there. She should get further the way she has been finishing her races."
Mulvany also said that his promising 2yo Tough As Nails will go for the Railway Stakes next on Derby Day at the Curragh, which is a week from Sunday.
